April was a busy month for us, JASGP (Japan America Society of Greater Philadelphia) had asked our group to arrange an arrangement at Liberty Place which located at 1625 Chestnut Street, downtown Philadelphia to celebrate Cherry blossom. Therefore Ms. Lin and her group arrived April 11, Monday 9;30 am and have to finish no later than 1:30 pm with a space of 6'x 8'. Here were our arrangement we returned on Friday April 15th around 1:pm to breakdown and took home any of items.
After 32 years I retired from Jones New York Company as pattern maker. Working at the garden and seeing beautiful flowers is the best way to lessen my frustrations. Since 2008 I joined Sogetsu School Ikebana class under Ms.Meei-Huey Lin,well known Ikebana Instructor in this area. I would like to share with you some of my Ikebana arrangements done at the classes. Welcome for your kind criticism.
