  I finished presentation this afternoon for Japanese flowers arrangement. The garden club members enjoyed very much, it was a very successful presentation indeed. I used power point to introduce Ikebana and then demonstrated three styles such as up right and slanting Moribana and up right Nageire those basic styles and prearranged some of the arrangement in the crafts room before the event. Metamorphosis

My husband's painting and my arrangement. It transform to a another level of world of Ikebana
 We have new idea for today's lesson. Bring in one of the picture, and we will arrange an arrangement inspired by that picture. It may be from one of the colors, some thing remind of the picture, or the emotion you have at the time you were painting .... I was inspired by my husband's painting all of flowers from our old garden, and my arrangement with this picture develops new relatively conspicuous and influenced the development of ideas of evolution. Horizontal composition

 Free style low horizontal composition using two kinds of branches.Teacher want us to arrange one of basic arrangement  today. I choose to practise this composition again. (7-3-2012)
