No subject

Using too many flowers, I had problems to handle at the same time. And this was the answer at last. But I still have left over materials in my bucket.

Go Green

Green energy is a trend to save the earth now, even for the Sogetzu school of Ikebana.
In this class, we used solely green material in the arrangement. I had green container, green azalea branch, green corn flowers, green bells of Ireland and green leaves of different texture and shape and a piece of drift wood covered by moss. Although there was only single color in the arrangement but they look nice and elegant.(7-19-2011)

Free Style- You in Ikebana

I was so happy and surprised to see a center piece bouquet on my kitchen island, which was brought back by Charlie (my son) for me from the party. I needed flowers for the Tuesday Ikebana class, Dendrobium Orchid was just a perfect material for me to express myself in this lesson.(7-19-2011)
This was huge center piece bouquet.

One for Three

For one stem of Oriental lily I had three different arrangements. Some people said Ikebana is an expensive taste, but it can be very cheap too. Plant your own flowers, bushes or tree, with your idea to create an arrangement is such a fun. Having finished the arrangement, which I would like to share with you. To tell you the truth, it made my day. (7-4-2011)
