The 12th NAOTA Conference

The 12th NAOTA conference was held on September 30 to October 4 in Philadelphia, USA.   Demonstration was conducted by Associate Professor Akihiro Nishi.  It was breathtaking to watch Mr.Nishi demonstrate 8 huge arrangements.  Observation of nature is very important because the Ohara School emphasizes seasonal qualities, growth processes, and the beauty of natural environments.   It was eyes opening to me for the Ikebana world and have to thank my friend Vivian invite
me to the demonstration and dinner.(10-04-13)
