Composition of Mass and Line

This is formed by tulips and hypericums. Two groups of mass gave an accent to the overall color and form.. The curved kiwi vine is stretched from the mass to create a wide open space between the mass and the line. (3-10-15)
After 32 years I retired from Jones New York Company as pattern maker. Working at the garden and seeing beautiful flowers is the best way to lessen my frustrations. Since 2008 I joined Sogetsu School Ikebana class under Ms.Meei-Huey Lin,well known Ikebana Instructor in this area. I would like to share with you some of my Ikebana arrangements done at the classes.
