Flowers,Ikebana and I

After 32 years I retired from Jones New York Company as pattern maker. Working at the garden and seeing beautiful flowers is the best way to lessen my frustrations. Since 2008 I joined Sogetsu School Ikebana class under Ms.Meei-Huey Lin,well known Ikebana Instructor in this area. I would like to share with you some of my Ikebana arrangements done at the classes. Free Style - Thanksgiving

Materials: Carnation, azalea, red berry branch
Container: Cane

In October at our community art craft show I found this beautiful Cane and used for today's arrangement . So pretty and unique. Thanks the person who gave me this wonderful treasure. Happy Thanksgiving.(11-20-12)
