After 32 years I retired from Jones New York Company as pattern maker. Working at the garden and seeing beautiful flowers is the best way to lessen my frustrations. Since 2008 I joined Sogetsu School Ikebana class under Ms.Meei-Huey Lin,well known Ikebana Instructor in this area. I would like to share with you some of my Ikebana arrangements done at the classes. Welcome for your kind criticism.

On August 13, at 2:00 pm, we( Betty, Lynn and Chih) arrived at the Indian Valley Public Library with our buckets of flowers, containers, and all the equipments after over an hour drive. Some classmates were there already; of course Ms.Lin and her second daughter also had started to set up tables. The library provided the Reading Room for the Exhibition and all the programs. Today's activities were part of IVPL's Second Fridays Series sponsored by Women's club of Indian Vally. After a while all the students finished their arrangements and made final touches. (8-13-2010)
