Flower show involved so many peoples and volunteer workers. I had two hours volunteer at Ikebana section as host . Those beautiful pictures were taken from second rotation March 4, 2-4 pm. All the arrangements were provided by members of Ikebana International Philadelphia charter #71.

 The AIFD  for the flower show took its inspiration from an extraordinary exhibition at Philadelphia Museum of Art, "Treasures from Korea" and focus on a specific set piece,"The King's Feast" from the Joseon exhibition.

Mercer County Community College; Did a great job for showing us the most diverse groups of animals on the face of the earth that you might run into in your backyard. Can you identify those little creatures?

The fusion of art and horticulture celebrated in " ARTiculture," an extraordinary presentation of the PHS Philadelphia Flower Show on March 1 to 9, 2014.

Beautiful flowers, gardens and landscapes have always been an inspiration for artists. This year PHS partners with the nation's leading art museums and institutions. "Where Art meets horticulture" explored the influence of natural landscapes on the art.  Floral designers were paired with museums in the Philadelphia area and beyond and given this mission: Find an artist, a painting and interpret it their own way.
