After 32 years I retired from Jones New York Company as pattern maker. Working at the garden and seeing beautiful flowers is the best way to lessen my frustrations. Since 2008 I joined Sogetsu School Ikebana class under Ms.Meei-Huey Lin,well known Ikebana Instructor in this area. I would like to share with you some of my Ikebana arrangements done at the classes. Welcome for your kind criticism.

Without right containers, there is no beautiful Ikebana. Flower arrangement and containers work together to create Ikebana, and it is hard to choose which part is more important. Ikebana reflects the nature of earth and interpreting the moods of seasons. Through creative use of certain containers, we are able to create fine art. Containers are integral to the entirety of Ikebana.
